Terms and conditions for renting a vehicle
The vehicle can only be rented by a person who has reached the age of 21 and has held a driver’s license for at least 2 years. When picking up the car, the driver is obliged to show valid documents: passport or identity card and driver’s license, which ONE ROAD Rent A Car is obliged to copy and keep in the records.
The rented vehicle must not be driven:
- under the influence of alcohol, sedatives, narcotics, sleeping aids or other drugs;
- for illegal purposes (eg criminal acts, customs and foreign currency violations, illegal transport of migrants and the like);
- for paid transportation of passengers or goods;
- for any competition, speed trials or races;
- for driving or towing other vehicles, trailers or any object;
- when it is not in driving condition; for driver training.
The service user is obliged to:
- not to load the rented vehicle with persons or objects exceeding the permitted weight;
- not to cross the border of Serbia with a rented vehicle without a Rent a car ONE ROAD permit;
- bare the costs of the fuel used;
- request the consent of One road rent a car for the extension of agreed period of use 48 hours before the expiry of the deadline for returning the vehicle;
- properly maintain and store vehicle during use;
- return the rented vehicle within the agreed period or earlier at the request of Rent a car;
- use the vehicle only for your own needs and not to rent or lend it to a third party;
- pay all of fines pronounced during his use of vehicle, which were caused by his fault
In the event of an accident, the user of rent a car services is obliged to protect the interests of Rent a car ONE ROAD and its insurance company by:
- recording the names and addresses of participants and witnesses of the accident;
- not leaving the damaged vehicle until he has removed it from the scene of the accident and secured it;
- immediately notifying Rent a car ONE ROAD of the damage, even if it is minor as fast as possible.
- immediately calling and waiting for the arrival of the police authorities in order to carry out official investigation in case of major damage to the vehicle ot if there are injured persons.
- submitting a written accident report to Rent a car ONE ROAD.
